Every family has one little girl who would wear pink every day of the year if she could. This is her Christmas jumper.
Meet Snolene, a pink snowman jumper knitting pattern for children aged 2 to 11 years. She has sleepy eyes, a knitted 3D nose, a stripy scarf with a real fringe, and a bobble on her hat. A scattering of French knot snowflakes finishes her off. Yes, she is named after that song. Try knitting her without singing it, I couldn't.
The pattern has clear instructions from start to finish. The jumper (sweater) is knitted flat from the bottom up and seamed, with the snowman worked from a clear chart. The nose, scarf and bobble are knitted separately and sewn on at the end. For the eyes and buttons, you can use duplicate stitch if you prefer. It is quick to knit up in DK and lovely to give.
