Mystical Unicorn Hoodie, Simple Kids Hooded Sweater - Knitting Pattern

Unicorns are so on-trend right now! Little ones will be overjoyed with their very own magical hoodie. Use plain stocking stitch, mixed with stand-out stripes to knit the base of the hoodie. Embellishments like the hair, horn and ears use a mix of crochet, clever shaping and neat sewing to complete the look.

The curly rainbow mane is crocheted, not a fan of crochet, don’t worry instructions are included for knitting the hair instead!

Sized to fit ages 1-10 years and knit in DK yarn.

Needles:

• Straight 3.25mm & 4mm, you may find it easier to use long circulars particularly around the hood.
• 3.25mm DPN’s (or needles for working in the round)
• 4.5mm crochet hook (for the hair) or 4mm DPN's

 Also Needed:

• Darning needle
• Stuffing
• Sewing needle and cream thread
• Stitch holders

 Tension:

Yarn used knits as DK to this tension 22 sts and 30 rows to measure 10 x 10cm (4x4in) over st st using 4mm needles.
