How cute is this fun Christmas Jumper? Just look at that fluffy beard and very smart plaid hat, such a dude! This is a set-in sleeve sweater with a simple intarsia panel for the beard and applique hat. The tartan sleeves add a touch of sophistication to this fun knit and they are worked using a stripe sequence with column of purl stitches. Once the sleeve is completed, a crochet hook is used to work a column of stitches into the purl ‘ditch’ row.

Knit in DK weight yarn, great for stash busting! The fabulous beard is worked using King Cole, Luxury Fur yarn, but could be worked in White DK yarn also.

Tension:

Yarn used knits as DK to this tension 22 sts and 30 rows to measure 10 x 10cm (4x4in) over st st using 4mm needles.
