A flamingo jumper knitting pattern for girls aged 1 to 9 years, with two fluffy applique flamingos on the front, their necks curved towards each other to form a heart shape. If you know a small girl who loves flamingos, this is the pattern you have been looking for.
The jumper itself is worked bottom up in stocking stitch with a moss stitch border, pink stripe detail on the sleeves, and a shoulder button opening. The flamingos are each made up of a body, wings, a neck worked as an i-cord, a head, a beak, and two legs worked as i-cord or crochet chain, and sewn on at the end. It is a lovely finishing project and a very good reason to buy a ball of King Cole Truffle.
