Baby Unicorn, Simple Applique Crochet Baby Jumper - Crochet Pattern
Baby Unicorn, Simple Applique Crochet Baby Jumper - Crochet Pattern
This little unicorn sweater is full of lovely contrasts. The main pieces are worked in alternating rows of dc and htr. The oh so cute Unicorn is crocheted as a separate piece and attached to the jumper.
The bright colours of the rainbow stripes are beautifully contrasted with the background grey and really standout as a result. Then there is the gorgeous unicorn poking his head up above the hem - he’s a delight and kids will adore him.
The jumper is worked bottom up in two pieces, then front and back are seamed. It is a drop shoulder construction with faux button plackets at the neck (using snaps to close for easy dressing). Grosgrain ribbon is added for stability. Cuffs and hems are
added at the end. Sewing on small pieces is best achieved using sewing thread and needle, white all purpose sewing thread is great for this project.
This sweater is a great way to use up leftovers and PERFECT if you have a pack of Scheepjes, Stone Washed minis.
Sized to fit ages Birth to 3 years, you can find full sizing info and yarn requirements in the table below and in the image section.
