Barnyard Pals, Kids Farmyard Sweater & Finger Puppets - Kniting Pattern

Why knit a sweater when you can knit a sweater that includes a set of farmyard friends and a large barn pocket for them to live in?

The Barnyard Pals sweater is sized to fit approx. ages 2-11 year and comes complete with patterns for the Chicken, Cow, Pig, Sheep and Horse finger puppets.

This is a decpitively simple knit with a drop shoulder and simple blocks of colour. 

Knit in DK weight yarn.

Straight 3.25mm & 4mm

Tension:

Sweater Tension:

Yarn used knits as DK to this tension 22 sts and 30 rows to measure 10 x 10cm (4x4in) over st st using 4mm needles

The yarn quantities listed for the Finger Puppets only, use very small amounts of each shade, a great stash busting project.

Block your pieces before you add any of the applique pieces or embroidery, it makes it so much easier!
