The project is sized to fit babies and toddlers aged from birth to five years, and would make a fun gift for any little one. It’s knitted in King Cole, Big Value (50g) DK a machine-washable acrylic yarn, but would work well in any DK weight yarn (great stash buster).
Needles:
Straight 3.25mm & 4mm, you may find it easier to use long circulars particularly around the hood. Optional 3.25mm needles for working in the round.
Also Needed:
- Buttons dark grey 2.5cm diameter 4 (4: 4: 6: 6: 6)
- Darning needle
- Stitch markers
- Stitch holder
- Sewing needle and thread
Tension:
Yarn used knits as DK to this tension 22 sts and 30 rows to measure 10 x 10cm (4x4in) over st st using 4mm needles.
