Baby dinosaur Christmas jumper knitting patterns do not come more charming than this. Santa Saurus has a petrol intarsia dinosaur on the front, five knitted spikes along the back, and a removable Santa hat, sized from newborn to 5 years.
Santa Saurus is a baby and toddler Christmas jumper knitting pattern for ages 0-6 months to 4-5 years, featuring an intarsia dinosaur on the front with a knitted arm, five knitted spikes sewn along the back, and a removable Santa hat with a knitted i-cord tip and bobble. The sleeves are mismatched, one worked in plain Petrol and one in a Petrol, Wine, and Platinum stripe sequence, which gives the whole thing a cheerfully chaotic energy. The pattern also includes a chart and instructions for an optional duplicate stitch ROARSOME logo on the front, if you want to commit fully to the theme.
The Santa hat can be attached using press studs so it removes cleanly after Christmas, extending the life of the jumper well into the new year. A practical decision that will nonetheless require some explaining to the child wearing it.

The pattern is rated confident beginner. The construction is a straightforward drop shoulder seamed jumper worked in stocking stitch. The intarsia dinosaur uses one contrast colour, and the spikes and hat are worked separately and sewn on. This would make an excellent first intarsia project.
